      • 2007 Jan, 10 installment of $50,000 was paid.
      • 2007 July, $450,000 Due for closing.
      • 2008 July, Five times salat and kids madrasa begins at 158 Anderson Drive, Unit #2
      • 2008 July, Masjid land paid off in full

      • On Sunday June 20th, 2010 - Insha-Allah, we will be holding a ground-breaking ceremony for the start of the Masjid construction on the purchased land (near the corner of 16th Avenue and Hwy 48)

        This project will Insha-Allah be of great significance for protecting and supporting the growing needs of the Muslim Community in Markham and for enhancing the cause of Islam, in addition to, benefiting Muslim generations for decades to come.  

         

        NEW MASJID DETAILS

      • The building shall cover over 25,000 sq feet on two acres of prime land
      • Will serve over 1200 worshipers
      • Seven well-equipped classrooms (accommodating over 300 youth & children)
      • Recreational facilities for all ages
      • Islamic library and support area specially for elders
      • Dawah and guidance centre
      • Community support centre
      • Estimated cost to start construction is $1.4M
      • Estimated cost to complete the construction is US $4.5M

The rainstorm smiteth it and it bringeth forth its fruit twofold. And if the rainstorm smite it not, then the shower. Allah is Seer of what ye do.
